JGS Solutions provides clear, accessible website design and long-term digital support for charities, schools, safeguarding organisations, community groups, and small businesses.
The focus is on helping organisations feel confident about their websites, how they work, how they’re managed, and how they support real people all without unnecessary complexity or pressure.
Many of the organisations I work with are time-poor, under-resourced, and juggling competing priorities. My role is to make the digital side of things calmer, clearer, and easier to manage over time.
JGS Solutions is run by Jonathan Stanley, a WordPress designer and digital support specialist based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire with over a decade of experience working with organisations that do meaningful, people-focused work.
I’ve worked with charities, education providers, safeguarding teams, community organisations, and small businesses on projects ranging from simple one-page websites to long-term support and maintenance.
What these organisations often have in common is not a lack of ambition, but a lack of capacity. Digital work can quickly become overwhelming when it’s not your core role. JGS Solutions exists to bridge that gap with practical advice, realistic solutions, and steady support.
I don’t see websites as one-off deliverables. They’re tools that need to be understood, maintained, and allowed to evolve.
My approach is built around:
Clarity
Explaining things in plain English and designing websites that make sense quickly to the people using them.
Accessibility
Building websites that work for different audiences, abilities, and devices — not as an afterthought, but as part of the foundations.
Proportion
Recommending what’s appropriate for your organisation’s size, resources, and goals, rather than pushing unnecessary features or complexity.
Long-term thinking
Designing and supporting websites that remain usable, manageable, and relevant over time.
The aim is always to reduce friction — for visitors, for staff, and for the organisation as a whole.
I primarily support:
Charities and charitable trusts
Schools, academies, and education providers
Safeguarding and community-focused organisations
Small businesses and independent professionals
These organisations often need a reliable digital partner rather than a large agency. Someone who understands their context, works at a sensible pace, and stays involved beyond launch.
I aim to be straightforward, transparent, and easy to work with. That means:
No jargon unless it’s genuinely helpful
No unnecessary upselling
No locking you into systems you don’t control
Clear explanations and realistic expectations
Sometimes the most useful outcome is confirming that you don’t need a big change right now. That’s fine too.
Every project and support relationship is different, but the process is deliberately simple.
Listen
Understanding your organisation, your audiences, and what’s currently working or isn't working.
Plan
Agreeing a clear, realistic approach that fits your capacity and priorities.
Build or support
Designing, improving, or supporting your website using accessible, modern, and dependable practices.
Stay involved
Providing ongoing care, advice, and adjustments as your organisation and needs change.
There’s no pressure to have everything worked out at the start. Clarity usually emerges through conversation.
If you’re planning a new WordPress website, looking to refresh an existing one, or need ongoing support, I’m here to help. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out — we can talk it through together and find the best approach for your organisation.
